December 2025 Newsletter

This month at Jolt

Huge congratulations to all our athletes who competed in Huffin for the Stuffin and an extra shoutout to the four Jolt teams who made the podium. You all represented our community with strength, grit, and heart.

As we head into December, thank you to every single member for making this year such an incredible one. Your energy, consistency, and support are what make this place so special. Let’s finish the year strong and roll right into an even bigger and better 2026 together! 💪⚡

Important Notice

Starting in January, a small processing fee will apply to all credit card transactions, while ACH payments will remain fee free. We’re making this change to help offset rising costs without raising membership prices. A detailed email with ACH setup instructions will be sent later today.

Important Dates

December 6th, 6:00pm:

Jolt Holiday Party at the Kalinovich’s residence! Please bring a dish of your favorite holiday appetizer or drink – a spreadsheet will be posted in the gym.

December 20th, 9:00am:

Only one class for the 12 Days of Christmas workout!

December 24th:

Christmas Eve, one class at 9:30am

December 25th:

Christmas, no classes.

December 26th:

No 6:30am class.

December 31st:

New Year’s Eve, one class at 9:30am.

January 1st:

New Year's Day, no classes.

When did you start CrossFit?

My first class was April 2021.

Why CrossFit? Did you do any other sports in the past?

My old gym closed during the pandemic and I decided to give CrossFit a try after bouncing around the other local gyms in the area. I’ve always played basketball consistently and supplemented it with barbell training so I figured it would be a nice transition. 

What do you like most about Jolt?

I really enjoy the encouraging atmosphere and the programming. I also appreciate the coaching and being able to learn barbell movements that I was always afraid to try out on my own.

What is your favorite movement?

Back Squat but snatches are a close second.

Do you have any goals that you want to accomplish in 2026?

Consistent double unders and squat 315!

Would you rather do 1,000 double unders or 1 burpee mile?

1,000 Dubs would surely be great practice for my 2026 Goal.
